County Durham Furniture Help Scheme

Unit 19/20, Avenue Three, Chilton, Ferryhill DL17 0PB, UK – 01388 721509

A great place to go for people that 1. Cannot afford new shop prices. 2. Use second hand items to help the environment. Massive warehouse staffed by really nice friendly people who go out of their way to help you. . If you want new white goods or beds they have them also or decent second hand ones. All electrical equipment is safety tested before sale. As for just been given a notepad..... This is a good help. All items have numbers on them. See something you want. Write down the number. Go back to office and they will find the item and the cost on the computer. They could not go running around a large warehouse with every customer, collating numbers. A note book was a very intelligent idea.

I'm here every week have introduced so many of my family and friends here. New stock daily have had all sorts of bits and bobs even managed to get my friend a bed , paint etc. My son keyboard etc can't remember the guys name always forget it (sorry) , but he is there 99% of the time he is really good with me and other customers really helpful and knows his stuff. Even when my son spilt paint he told me not too worry and helped me clean up. Great place and great people many thanks and will see yous next week thank you. X

Give and get free stuff. Here you will find lots of items that people are willing to give away, for FREE! This is instead of taking them to a local landfill site. The aim of this site is to reduce the amount of waste that goes to landfill (20.9 million tonnes of it last year in the UK) and recycling is great news for the environment.
We all know that we need to recycle more - and this is a great way of doing it.
